Had a scare last night...

We were out looking at yardsells yesterday, and I was feeling TERRIBLE. I was tired and wanting to lay down, aching all over, and my stomach was hurting me. I was trying to keep up with Richard and was having a hard time, and I was out of breath too.

We stopped at his parents and I went to the bathroom and saw BLOOD. There wasn't much, but it SCARED me. I was scared I was having another miscarriage!

But this time, I did something different - I didn't want to just freak out and cry my eyes out like I did last year, which probably was what made the miscarriage carry on. I tried to keep myself as calm as possible and I sat for a long time. The bleeding stopped before my hubby took me to the ER.

When we got there, they looked at my hcg levels and did an ultrasound and found out that I'm actually only 5 weeks pregnant, and not 13 like we thought. We thought I was 13 because my last period was January 29th, but because I have irregular periods, it's hard to really tell how far along I am. It turns out that my body just wanted a really long cycle this time, which is why I'm only 5 weeks instead of 13.

I haven't bled since yesterday afternoon, and the doctors labeled me "high risk" and told me I'm not allowed to work (at a job) or do any other types of physical activities. They told me I need to rest, drink plenty of fluids, and have vaginal rest....

Hopefully I'll be able to carry this one to term...but it looks like it's going to be a difficult pregnancy...And I think having Endometriosis is what's making me high risk. :( I've had Endometriosis since I was 12, and the longer you have it, the worse it gets. I've had it for almost 12 years now; I turn 24 in December of this year.

We want at least ONE kid...:( After this one, I might just get a hysterectomy so I can work and not have stomach pains...
